If you’ve been following PBS’s excellent “Craft In America” you may be aware of their latest installment, called “Celebration,” and airing this Friday, December 11. I was very happy to learn this morning that Yoshiko Yamamoto will be featured! So great to see Yoshiko’s block prints receiving the attention and respect they deserve.
The episode has a wonderful premise, designed of course, for the season of giving and explores “the role craft plays in our holiday customs.” More on the show here…
We have a very nice inventory of Yoshiko’s work, including “Fir Branch,” below. View Yoshiko’s page on our website here.
Hope you’ll watch the episode—and consider purchasing a piece by this wonderful printmaker!

I’ve got three of her prints now. Just love them. Now all I need is a craftsman home!
