2012. Oil on panel, 8” x 10”. Framed in No. 208.4 + Cap 308 — 3″ in quartersawn white oak (Saturated Medieval Oak stain) with pale gold slip.
The sloping land and fine line work and softly rendered forms suggested this frame. I love the way the historical foundation our frames resonates with that of Erik’s landscapes, which draw on the old Dutch and French landscape painters.
