Before re-framing
I enjoyed balancing the loose brushwork and delicate lines of the trees by combining a subtle overall profile form with carving. The fine bead, doubled up in the corners, further accent the refined line of the painting. And of course, the ray flake in the quartersawn white oak perfectly echoes the trees—one wood complimenting another! More…
