The poster for the show

Now more than ever we are all awakening to the imperative that we pay attention to this land where we live. “Beloved California,” the Holton Studio Gallery’s fourth annual all-gallery show since our move to West Berkeley in 2016, will be an extraordinary celebration of this place we all love. The show features paintings of Northern California by our entire roster of outstanding artists:

Kevin Brown, Sharon Calahan, Bill Cone, Christin Coy, Mark Farina, Robert Flanary, Paul Kratter, Tia Kratter, Richard Lindenberg, Kim Lordier, James McGrew, Terry Miura, Robin Moore, Ernesto Nemesio, Carol Peek, Davis Perkins, Paul Roehl, Barbara Tapp, Erik Tiemens, and guest artist Tom Killion.

This is the biggest show we have ever had, with over fifty paintings, and we’ve been having a great time framing them! The exhibition includes outstanding new work by old friends of the gallery you may be familiar with as well as pieces by some new names we’re excited to be including, and perhaps introducing you to.

Shown below are the paintings in the exhibition. All paintings are subject to prior sale.

We hope you’ll come see the show and take this opportunity to be enchanted by some of our region’s top landscape artists.
