California Art Club Event: Jeff Sewell Demo Packs Them In

This past Saturday we hosted a painting demonstration by Jeff Sewell of Laguna Beach. The event was sponsored by the Northern California chapter of the California Art Club. As you can tell from the pictures, Jeff drew a standing-room-only crowd, which was transfixed for a full hour-and-a-half as a powerful and dramatic seascape came together before their eyes. Jeff has a talent for being able to talk while painting, actually giving words to what he’s doing—which is no small feat. As an avid surfer, Jeff has developed an specially strong affinity for the waves and seashore he loves to paint. See more of his work at jeffsewellart.com.
