Before re-framing

Joseph Henry Sharp was a founder of the Taos Society of Artists and was perhaps best known for being commissioned by President Theodore Roosevelt to paint the portraits of the warriors who survived the Battle of the Little Bighorn. You can see how incongruous in spirit the old frame looked.
