Portfolio: Individualized Frames

While every frame should be designed "to the picture," an individualized frame is one whose design includes elements unique to the particular picture for which it was made. In many ways these frames represent the pinnacle of the art of frame-making as a living art form, demonstrating the frame as most alive to the unique and particular characteristics of the picture.
